Carl Arts

Carl Arts is in his first summer working on the NBC Camps staff. He has just recently finished up his fourth and final season with the University of Alaska Anchorage Division II Seawolves. This past season, Carl led the Seawolves to a 29-6 record and a final four appearance at the NCAA Division II tournament leading his team in scoring, rebounding, and steals. This year Carl was named an NABC 1st Team All-American, 1st Team All-West Region, 1st Team All-Tournament at the West Regional Tournament, 1st Team All-Conference, and All-Tournament Team at the prestigious Division I Great Alaska Shootout, leading the tournament in rebounding. He is UAA's third leading all-time scorer and rebounder, and is in UAA's all-time top 10 in 12 different categories. His major is Physical Education and he plans to pursue a career of playing professional basketball in Europe. Carl states, "I am very excited to use my talents to help kids improve their skills and reach their potential in basketball. I am looking forward to this opportunity and working with an experienced staff."

Rebecca Kielpinski

2007-08: Leading scorer (12.7 ppg), rebounder (8.9 rpg), shot-blocker (2.0 bpg) for Seawolf team that posted best record in school history (30-5) and advanced to the NCAA Semifinals for the first time ever ... chosen Second Team All-America by Women’s Division II Bulletin... named honorable mention All-American by WBCA ... repeated as Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year, sharing honor with Seattle Pacific’s Jackie Hollands ... earned First Team All-GNAC honors for second consecutive season ... voted First Team All-West Region by both coaches (WBCA) and sports information directors (Daktronics) ... earned second straight Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout Most Outstanding Player award after leading Seawolves to second straight championship ... made All-Tournament Teams at West Regional Championships and Glacier Classic ... earned GNAC Player of the Week honors after Shootout performance, setting GNAC women’s hoops record with her 7th career POW award ... earned two honorable mention POW nods ... led GNAC in rebounding and double-doubles (12) for third straight year, and paced league in blocks for first time ... other GNAC ranks included 7th in scoring, 6th in FG% (.511), 15th in assists (2.3 apg) and 16th in minutes (28.3 mpg)
